Buy fresh—enjoy local. At the Red Barn Farm, we support local farmers by offering their produce in our store all week long, not just on farmer’s market day.
We offer a large variety for you to choose from, including peaches, tomatoes, sweet corn, fresh greens, squash, onions, peas, green beans, cucumbers, okra, peppers, melons and much more.
We also sell farm fresh eggs from Red Barn Farm chickens and long horn ground beef that is locally raised at Long Livestock. The selection changes daily, so stop by often!
In the summer, we offer you-pick blackberries. The season begins in June and runs till the end of July (weather permitting). Our thornless blackberry bushes are full of sweet fruit for you and your family to pick and enjoy. Don’t miss out on this fun family activity!
You-pick season begins at the end of August. Our apple trees have not been sprayed with pesticides or chemical fertilizers in over 4 years, so our apples will look like the apples in your great grandmother’s kitchen. Due to the large demand for this activity, we are usually done picking by the second week in September. We do sell pre-picked apples in our country store throughout the fall, and offer many varieties to choose from.
Hop on a hayride for a trip to the pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkin. Our you-pick field opens around Labor Day, giving you and your family the chance to search for that perfect pumpkin. The you-pick field is only open on weekends and is weather permitting.
